The short version

Ranked has no accounts and no login. You never give us your name or your email. We do not sell data. Ads pay for the game, and Google shows them — more on that below.

Your scores stay on your device

Your scores, your streak, and your stats are saved by your own browser. They sit on your device. They are not sent to us, and we cannot read them.

If you clear your browser data, they are gone for good. If you switch phones, you start fresh. There is no copy for us to restore.

How we count visitors

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It tells us how many people play and roughly where in the world they are. It does not use cookies. It does not track you across other sites.

Ads

The game is free because ads pay for it. Google AdSense serves them. The main one is a short video you can choose to watch to unlock a bonus puzzle. You never have to watch an ad to play the daily game.

Google, and the partners it works with, may use cookies to show you ads based on your visits to this and other sites. That is their standard way of picking which ad you see. You can turn off personalized ads at Google’s ad settings, and read how Google uses ad data for their side of it.

How to opt out

Most ad blockers and privacy blockers stop the analytics and the ads. The game still works fine either way. Nothing here gates play — even the bonus puzzle unlocks if an ad fails to show.

Questions

Ranked is a small game made by one person. If you want to ask about any of this, reach out and ask.
